(FIX/Ibiza/31 JULY 2013): For those still wrapping their heads round the gigantic smorgasbord of party options in Ibiza this summer, it’s always good to have a nudge in the right direction from an old veteran, so what better time to introduce you to the Balearic based record label, Seamless Recordings, whose third event of the season takes place this Friday 2 August from 8.30PM at one of the island’s most emblematic hotels- Hotel Es Vive.

Following on from two very successful events so far this summer, this third gathering at Es Vive, it’s fair to say, is where the boys behind the label gracefully pass the gauntlet/headphones to the girls, with this, the launch of Seamless Recordings’ latest compilation album, ‘Venus in Motion- Somebody’s Heaven’ as the highlight of the event.
With that passing of power in mind, it makes perfect sense then that headlining this Friday’s event is Venus In Motion herself- the alter ego of Angel Johnson, a renowned House music DJ who began her career way back in 1991. A veteran of her trade and a pioneer in helping smash the stereotype of what was once considered a uniquely male vocation. No better woman for the job…

MEERCD030S2_Artwork

As well as Angel’s love of House, she has always been passionate about the more down tempo, groovy, after hours music that resides comfortably – or sometimes uncomfortably – under the Chill Out umbrella.  Angel had always written, produced, collaborated and hung out in studios but it’s artists like Massive Attack, Nightmares On Wax, Everything But The Girl etc… that first inspired her to want to write her own album – laying down the many songs that had formed in her head over the years.  In 2005 Angel set up her own studio, set her mind to the task  and Venus In Motion was born.

All the key ingredients and some essential factors for the fresh vibe behind Venus In Motion’s debut album, Walking in Limbo, released in 2007.  It was signed to Spain’s largest independent record label, Blanco y Negro, it won hearts and minds and earned early admiration from some of Ibiza’s leading names behind the music and DJ sets you so often experience during the white Isle’s famed, magical sunsets. The album also features one of the only covers to gain family support from the estate of Bob Marley – for This Woman, a stunning interpretation of No Woman No Cry.

The new album Somebody’s Heaven, follows suit with beautifully crafted songs, quality production and that inimitable injection of sweet melancholy.  The music itself is an eclectic mix inspired by jazz, soul, folk and dub. It embodies both an electronic and an organic vibe. The tracks distinctively weave together the sounds from long term collaborators like Chris Bucknall on keyboards, Tony Dallas on guitar and Karl Bingham on bass… sweetly elevated by the awesome vocal talents of Cherry Mars, Siobhan Lynch, Naomi Moss and Jack Kenworthy. Venus In Motion can frequently be heard at the worlds coolest lounge bars and sunset strip cafes, and regularly play-listed on Radio Stations like Ibiza Sonica Radio helping Venus in Motion to reach an even wider international audience.

Joining her in the Es Vive booth, two more female professionals of the house scene since, like, ever. Seamless Recordings welcomes back, with very open arms, Ms. Abigail Bailey (Seamless artist and the lady responsible for taking the roof off Hotel Es Vive’s Deco Bar at the Seamless Hotel Es Vive Album launch back in June) and long term island resident DJ, Clara de Costa, a woman who hardly needs an introduction round these parts, pioneer and long term resident DJ at Es Paradis, radio host and much sought after DJ- this lady forms part of the island’s musical heritage. Without a shadow of a doubt, this is a line up that will do Seamless proud.

But, of course, as they do, the boys also want a go and so, from midnight, it’s a quick shimmy to the hotel’s Experience Bar, where Seamless Label Manager Graham Sahara will be joined by another Seamless Recordings collaborator- bring him on, Mr Tom Crane, a man who’s proved his musical worth and then some in the short time since he decided to make Ibiza his home. Between them, these two are responsible for putting together the recently launched Hotel Es Vive Album, and doing a bloody good job of it too…it’s safe to assume they’ll cause an appropriate stir in the Experience Bar…

Meanwhile, back to us ladies, and as well as the complementary cava and the 100 Venus in Motion CD giveaway on the night, Hotel Es Vive are offering a 10% discount on their Spa treatments and membership packages, applicable on the evening of the event (See Reception for more details). And important to note- this offer also applies to the men- metro, hetro or homo- everybody needs a day at the spa once in a while… and if you’re too macho for that carry on, treat your lady to a Spa Day instead..God knows she deserves it…

All in all, then, and this is shaping up to be a do for those who know how to do the do…
Stylish socializing within the elegant surroundings of the Hotel Es Vive.
Seamless- Just the way we like it.

URBAN IN IBIZA RECIBE A JOHN TRACY

Image

URBAN IN IBIZA: ‘SONS OF WARHOL’ HAVE LANDED

Mini Markers switch this year’s edition of Urban in Ibiza ON!

Inkie & Fin Dac get ready for tomorrow’s live paint at Ibiza Rocks

Thursday’s signature event at Atzaró set to be bigger than ever

(FIX/ IBIZA/30 JULY 2013) :  As the fifth edition of Urban in Ibiza swung into action this morning at Atzaró with the return of the Mini Markers Kids Workshop, it’s full steam ahead for organiser and art curator Paul Dizzi Saunders who, along with his loyal team, is up to his eyeballs preparing the last details for both tomorrow’s live paint at Ibiza Rocks Hotel and Thursday’s annual signature showstopper at Atzaró  Rural Hotel. And that’s just this week…There’s also the mammoth Ocean Beach Club event to think about on 23 August.

For those who love their urban art, music and fashion, this year’s event really is an unmissable exhibition of all three, a gathering of some of the scene’s most talented street artists, musicians and designers. And in this the fifth edition of the urbanfest, organisers are raising the bar even higher, bringing in the American contingent and the exclusive works of  Shephard Fairey (Obey Giant), Chad Muska, Bam Margera and on site to present it, photographer and curator, John Tracy. His show, ‘SK8 ART ST‘ is a skateboarding / street art concept which takes a long look at skate culture and the transformation of skate related objects and paraphernalia into functional and fine artworks.

Aside from the Americanos, expect a long list of art and artists including several old faithfuls and a number of young newbie’s, quite a few of whom are touching down on the island as we speak for the annual gathering. To date, this year’s Urban in Ibiza will feature the works (and many of them exclusively) via London’s Westbank Gallery of Banksy, David Walker, Mau Mau, Fin Dac, Inkie, Snik, Schoony, Ben Allen, Dan Kitchener aka DANK, Jim Vision, Ben Slow, Henry Hate, Pure Evil, Rowan Newton, My Dog Sighs, Kristian Hornsleth, K Guy, Goldie, Nick Walker, Ryan Callanan aka RYCA, Milo, Copyright, Gemma Compton, Jim Starr, Elmo Hood, Lauren Baker, Chapter, Zeus, Nicolas Dixon, Sequin Kay, Adam Bricusse .

IMG_7498

As per every edition, Urban in Ibiza loves getting the kids involved.  Starting them young, today’s ‘MINI MARKERS’ Workshop, held in the shady groves of Atzaró had UK artists Inkie and Chapter get involved showing the juniors how it’s done, with almost 30 children getting stuck in to a group paint as well as producing their own individual canvases/masterpieces for the mantelpiece.

In a new addition to this year’s Urban in Ibiza, world famous tattoo artist, Neil Ahern, a man who has both tattooed and been tattooed by Kate Moss, not to mention his dog, Scratch (true story, his dog did tattoo him), is bringing the art of tattoo to Urban. And not before time. Bringing Inkadelic to Atzaró, the human skin is his canvas and Ahern’s faultless work brings another splash of colour and talent to this edition of Urban in Ibiza.

On the catwalk and it just got very exciting with Belgian designer and winner of the ‘Premium Young Designer Award 2013’ at Berlin Fashion Week, urban fashion designer Tom Van der Borght showcasing his AW 13/14 collection ‘Aponycalypse’. Tom’s wild creations are the missing pieces of the Urban In Ibiza puzzle for 2013, we kid you not. Bursting with colour, creation and originality, so good we might want to hang his unique creations in the Urban in Ibiza gallery!

IMG_7520-1White Ibiza are also on board as far as the fabric is concerned. Bringing sexy cool to the catwalk, get ready for this summer’s hottest swimwear styles, echoing Ibiza’s eclectic yet chic style stakes…

Music, we got it sorted. Fresh off the plane, Benji Boko is back at Urban, and the English DJ/Producer is back again to get our bootays shakin’ all over with his kooky remixes and energetic hip hop mash up music. He’s joined by MC Carpetface and DJs Samir, Yuniq, GianLuca de Tiberiis and Tony Montana. Extra good news on the music front, with Atzaró’s extended licencing hours meaning that we can make sweet urban music until 4a.m for the first time in Urban’s history at the gorgeous rural hotel hideaway.

Before Thursday’s madness ensues, however, it’s another first for the crew when Urban in Ibiza makes a little stop off tomorrow evening at the Ibiza Rocks hotel in San Antonio, where artists Fin DAC and Inkie will undertake a live paint to the tune of this week’s Ibiza Rocks headliners, Chase & Status.

That’s definitely ‘more than a lot’ to be getting on with…

So. To sum up. Art- Fashion- Music; a brilliant celebration of Urban Lifestyle on the island of Ibiza.

IBIZA ROCKS HOUSE/PIKES HOTEL presenta ‘JAZZ LEGENDS’ por BO WOODY WINTER

pikes

VERNISSAGE MARTES 30 JULIO, 20,00h

‘JAZZ LEGENDS’: AN ART EXHIBITION BY BO WOODY WINTER

pikes

VERNISSAGE TUES 30 JULY, 8PM

IBIZA ROCKS HOUSE @ PIKES HOTEL

EXCLUSIVE UNVEILING OF ARTIST’S 10M HOMAGE TO JAZZ GREATS

w/ MURIEL GROSSMAN QUARTET + DJ STRAY KITTEN

(FIX IBIZA/ 29 JULY 2013): Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel is undeniably the rock n roll hotel of choice on this, the Mediterranean island of music, a place where every musician worth his salt has laid his weary head and/or partied on with the best of them, ever since the beginning of its 33 year history. But Rock n Roll aside, our ears definitely pricked up and our jazzy hands began to tingle when we heard about the latest happening to take place up at Ibiza Rocks House thisTuesday 30 July.

See, sometimes, Ibiza Rocks rolls down a different road, dances to a different tune – and this Tuesday is a perfect example of what we mean, with the unveiling and vernissage of celebrated Dutch artist, Bo Woody Winter’s ‘JAZZ LEGENDS’ exhibition, a collection of 18 pieces depicting the History of Jazz and which will remain on show in Freddie’s Suite at the hotel until 8 August.

526446_424606600914961_66614430_n

The exhibition, being shown for the first time in Spain, is a culmination of several years of endless painting, bound together by the blood, sweat and tears of Woody Winter and apart from the 16 individual portraits includes his latest masterpiece, a 30ft long homage to jazz and Winter’s own jazz heroes.

Amongst the names- Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Nina Simone, Wes Montgomery, Art Blakey, Freddie Hubbard, Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker, Eric Dolphy, Esperanza Spalding, James Spaulding – all legends in their field. Jazz represented by its finest figureheads and just some of the musicians portrayed in ‘Jazz Legends’.

This latest exhibition by Bo Woody Winter comes fresh on the heels of the artist’s recent show at the North Sea Jazz Festival, considered the biggest international jazz fest in the world. It was there in 2011 that Bo Woody Winter met his heroes -Marcus Miller and Toots Thielemans- both now have Bo’s portraits of them on their walls. North Sea Jazz Festival’s Art Show Director, Wim van Zon also plays an important role in Winter’s Ibiza exhibitions and will also present a visual introduction to Bo’s work this Tuesday. After its inauguration, the ‘Jazz Legends’ series will remain in Freddie’s Suite until 8 Aug.

998052_572250806150539_1992473975_n

Aside from the jazz junkie’s obvious first love, Winter also has a deeply rooted history in Holland’s dance music scene, and has recently completed a second collection of paintings under the moniker DJ LEGENDS, already confirmed to be revealed to the discerning public on October 11 at Agroturismo Atzaro, Sant Joan. As an introduction to this second event, this Tuesday’s vernissage will also include the presentation from the artist to international DJ Sarah Main.  But more on that later…

Back to Bo on the Rocks and the plan for this Tuesday. Apart from an introduction to the artist and the proud presentation of his mammoth 10 metre long painting, Ibiza Rocks House will be pulling out the stops and putting on the Ritz with cocktails from 8pm,  served to the tune of the finest jazz from the Muriel Grossman Quartet. Whilst all that is going on, Bo will also do a live paint in the hotel’s Plaza Mayor of one of jazz’s undeniably most talented females- Nina Simone.

For those who want even more, DJ Stray Kitten will be taking up the gauntlet/headphones in Freddie’s Suite playing a selection of swing, jazz, blues and soul.

Lastly, in a very bittersweet addition to the event, Bo Woody Winter will dedicate ‘Jazz Legends’ to his father, who very sadly lost his battle with cancer only last week. Bo will therefore be auctioning his famous ‘splatter suit’ and donating the proceeds to cancer research. Great suit, great gesture.

All in all, a very cool little happening for those in the know, for those who love jazz and those that love art and of course, not forgetting, the usual suspects- the Pikes party people- you know who you are…Jazzy Hands at the ready, Ibiza Rocks House turns speakeasy.

It ISN’T only Rock n Roll- but we love it!

(FIX/IBIZA/23 JULY2013):  On an island saturated somewhat by sameness, Anthony ANTZ Bryans is a prime player in helping keep the authentic wheels of Balearia turning all over Ibiza, a DJ of such high standing that you may not even have heard of him. This is the man who, in the space of a fortnight, has generated national UK press headlines for getting Prince Harry, Kate Moss and the British Prime MinisterDavid Cameron to throw shapes on the dancefloor, who has been name-checked in the Sunday Times as a key reference in the social calendar of every Sloane Raver, who played a stonking set at the Rolling Stones after-party at Glastonbury and a man who, most of all, is happiest hiding out in his Ibiza abode, making music and loving life.

As one of the instigators of the original house music scene, back in the day, beside the likes of Danny Rampling and Nicky Holloway, Bryans already proved his worth a long time ago. These days, in Ibiza, his reputation as a proper party-starter stands strong. We highly recommend you add one or more of the following happenings to your Ibiza itinerary:

Now under new management, Antz’ reign continues on the Sant Joan Mile every Thursday through summer, with a number of guest DJS popping in along the way just to add to the melee…

ANTZ & FRIENDS ‘PLAY IT BY EAR’ AT IBIZA ROCKS HOUSE @ PIKES, EVERY SUNDAY

SUNDAY ROAST 2013.06.30 EX

Three years in and Antz is still going strong at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel, turning every Sunday into a reason to be cheerful with his ‘Play it By Ear’ parties proving the perfect complement to the hotel’s Sunday Roast. With guest DJs including the best of the best in local talent plus a few very special surprise sets along the way.

SUNDAY 28th  July : East Coast to East End, Antz’ Guest DJs are Arthur Baker and Patsy Palmer!!!

********

IN OTHER NEWS, and as per last year, Antz’ formed part of the hand-picked line up of DJs chosen to play at legendary DJ Carl Cox’s recent birthday celebration at Sands Ibiza. Bit of an honour, no matter what way you look at it, more so when we tell you that Antz is also confirmed for Cox’s annual September gathering, also at Sands. The big man summed it up beautifully: “Antz knows his music, works the crowd, plays for the occasion. There is something to be said for us older guys!”

Being the private party DJ of choice both on the island and back on his native turf in the U.K, Antz is continuously booked to play at an infinite number of high society and private parties summer and winter alike, the half of which are so hush-hush we don’t even tell you about them!

But aside from his constant gigging, Bryans has spent the past six months barricaded in his studio, working side by side with respected DJ/producer Anthony Gorry (recently landed from producing the latest No Doubt comeback album). The duo, collectively known as Drop Jackson, are currently putting the finishing touches to their joint EP and amongst other tracks, their remix of the Pet Shop Boys‘Vocal’, has already been approved by the PSB and is due to be unleashed in the Ibiza clubs before summer is out.

Lastly, an update on Antz’s continuous charity work. Ever the philanthropist, most recently, Antz massively stepped up at the 1st Ibiza Charity Polo Cup, as linker and headline DJ at the event, held in June. Organisers Ibiza Delivers handed over a very commendable 8,000€ to the AECC (Spanish Cancer Assoc, Ibiza & Formentera Branch), proceeds of the first such event at the Ibiza Polo Club . A great result for all involved in the event.

FREDDIES_ROCKS_IBIZA2013

Coming up on 1st September, and Antz also stars on the line up at Freddie Rocks Ibiza, an annual event held in aid of The Mercury Phoenix Trust, an organization set up by the remaining members of supergroup Queen, after the passing of the band’s frontman, Freddie Mercury, and raising funds for HIV + AIDS patients. This is the third year that Ibiza Rocks House has hosted this particular charity event, a cause close to their own hearts, Freddie Mercury having played such an important role in Pikes’ history.

As for this week though, we’d like to speculate that our mysterious Man of Music may well be slipping through a back door at St.Mary’s Hospital, summoned by Queenie herself to set the occasion of the Royal Baby Arrival to some sweet, sweet music. For when it comes to Antz these days, nothing, and we mean, nothing would surprise us…

URBAN IN IBIZA: EL ARTE URBANO AMERICANO, LOS HIJOS DE WARHOL

SOW Logo K. Thomas

URBAN IN IBIZA 5 PRESENTS ‘SONS OF WARHOL’: UNDER A STAR STENCILLED BANNER|

Image

CELEBRATING ITS 5TH YEAR AS IBIZA’S URBAN ART FORERUNNER AT ATZARó 1 AUG AND OCEAN BEACH CLUB 23 AUG
AMERICAN ARTISTS CONFIRMED AS SHEPARD FAIREY, JOHN TRACY, BAM MARGERA & CHAD MUSKA

(FIX/ IBIZA/17 JULY 2013) :  As Ibiza summer events go, it’s safe to say that ever since it first exploded onto the calendar in 2009, URBAN IN IBIZA is definitely up there on the Best of the Best List. This year, and what with the team behind the art-music-fashion extravaganza getting ready to celebrate their 5th birthday already (baby’s growin’ up…), this latest edition is set for starry, starry heights with not only a number of dates and venues confirmed but also, a wealth of both exclusive art & international artists all confirmed to take part in this Urban in Ibiza’s fifth celebration of their love of urban art, music and fashion.

The principal dates already set in stone for this edition are 1 Aug at Agroturismo Atzaró23 Aug at Ocean Beach Club and 31 July when Urban in Ibiza pops up for a live paint at Ibiza Rocks Hotel. Add to that the 30 July being set aside for the Mini Markers- a kids street art workshop at Atzaro plus the fact that the Urban in Ibiza exhibition itself runs at Atzaró Gallery until 8 Aug before being shipped off to San Antonio’s Ocean Beach Club, and it’s a veritable month long urbantastic explosion.

The mahoosive news for the urbanistas this time round is the fact that event owner and director Paul Dizzi Saunders has confirmed the acquisition of a number of exclusive works at the events by a number of high profile American artists including the internationally recognised Shepard Fairey, man behind Obey Giant.

Fairey’s name is a familiar one to any aficionado of contemporary urban/street art, his reputation having catapulted to a stellar level in 2008 when his ‘Hope’ portrait of Barack Obama became the iconic image of the presidential campaign and helped inspire an unprecedented political movement. The original image now hangs in the Smithsonian Institution’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. At this year’s Urban in Ibiza, Shepard Fairey unveils some original 2013 work, and this, make no mistake about it, is ‘a HUGE deal’ by any standards.

Image

Representing Skate and Street, the work of Jackass’ Bam Margera and world renowned skater Chad Muska both form part of the SK8 Art St exhibition within an exhibition at Urban in Ibiza this year with fellow artist and curator John Tracy the obvious choice for a personal appearance at the event. ‘SK8 ART ST’ is a skateboarding / street art concept which takes a long look at skate culture and the transformation of skate related objects and paraphernalia into functional and fine artworks.

Aside from the U.S contingent, expect a long list of art and artists including several old faithfuls and a number of young newbies. To date, this year’s Urban in Ibiza will feature the works (and many of them exclusively) of Banksy, David Walker, Mau Mau, Fin Dac, Inkie, Snik, Schoony, Ben Allen, Dan Kitchener aka DANK, Jim Vision, Ben Slow, Henry Hate, Pure Evil, Rowan Newton, My Dog Sighs, Kristian Hornsleth, K Guy, Goldie, Nick Walker, Ryan Callanan aka RYCA, Milo, Copyright, Gemma Compton, Jim Starr, Elmo Hood, Lauren Baker, Chapter, Zeus, Nicolas Dixon, Sequin Kay, Adam Bricusse and if we know Dizzi Saunders, probably a few more squeezed in along the way…

Between them all, a celebration of street art, of skate, of urban culture and lifestyle. And that’s not to mention the fashion, the music and the kids’ workshop.

Image

As per every year, Urban In Ibiza’s organisers are planning to wow with a catwalk show par excellence, this year led by Belgian designer and winner of the ‘Premium Young Designer Award 2013’ at Berlin Fashion Week, urban fashion designer Tom Van der Borght. Showcasing his award-winning  AW 13/14 collection ‘Aponycalypse’, Tom’s wild creations are the missing pieces of the Urban In Ibiza puzzle for 2013, we kid you not. Get ready for a catwalk show that simply screams Urban.

Warming up the catwalk and the crowd, Urban in Ibiza are also delighted to bring White Ibiza on board. After the successful launch of a new online Ibiza fashion boutique earlier this year, the fashion and style experts from White Ibiza are teaming up with Urban in Ibiza to bring their online brands onto the catwalk!

Smelling salts at the ready, it’s White Ibiza’s selection of this summer’s hottest swimwear styles, from hot US label L*Space and Brazilian brand ViX Swimwear among others that will have the crowd’s attention. Think fabulous fringing, wild patterns, mismatched prints, tribal embellishments and edgy hardware – these bikinis are anything but tame, echoing Ibiza’s eclectic yet chic style stakes. Attention grabbing stiff, just the way the Urbanistas like it…

Musically, it’s never a dull affair at Urban in Ibiza and this 5th Anniversary promises to prove just that. Fans of past editions will know the name of Benji Boko rather well, and the English DJ/Producer is back again to get the party well and truly started with his kooky remixes and energetic hip hop mash up sessions. He’s joined by MC Carpetface and DJs Samir, Yuniq, GianLuca de Tiberiis and Tony Montana plus special performances TBC. Extra good news on the music front, with Atzaró’s extended licencing hours meaning that we can make sweet urban music until 4a.m for the first time in Urban’s history at the gorgeous rural hotel hideaway.

As per every edition, Urban in Ibiza loves getting the kids involved. Lined up for their junior art experience this time around, Urban in Ibiza presents Mini Markers, a Street Art workshop with one of Europe’s top Graffiti artists Tom ‘Inkie’ BingleThe workshop is devised for 6-14 year olds and takes place on 30July from 12- 2.30pm again at Atzaró. With a set price per child of 25€, leave your budding Sons of Warhol to get their creative flow on, whilst you parents relax and enjoy lunch at Sant Joan’s jewel in the crown, Agroturismo Atzaró. And with Junior’s masterpiece coming home with him/her, best make a space on the mantelpiece. Booking is essential and can be done by mailing: charlotte@londonwestbank.com

So. To sum up. Art- Fashion- Music. Put it all together and what have you got except one great big, brilliant celebration of Urban Lifestyle.

Urban in Ibiza 5: Sons of Warhol…We hope Andy himself would be proud…

EIGHT YEARS LATER AND IBIZA ROCKS STILL HAS ITS BEADY EYE ON THE BALL

IBIZA ROCKS_LOGO2013

TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY 17 JULY AT IBIZA ROCKS HOTEL with BEADY EYE, TEMPLES, ZANE LOWE

THE BIRTHDAY PARTY CONTINUES POST GIG AT IBIZA ROCKS HOUSE @ PIKES HOTEL

(FIX/Ibiza/17July2013): It seems like only yesterday that the original Ibiza Rocks team, myself included, were preparing for the first ever Ibiza Rocks gig with plucky Northern band, Maximo Park, chosen as the first guinea pigs to create musical history on our stage.

It was in fact, in 2005 and since then and eight years in, it’s nothing if not a veritable Who’s Who of Contemporary Music & Musicians that have all taken up the sweaty Rocks gauntlet and again and again, many times in the very face of adversity, proving Ibiza Rocks to be the absolute instigator of the current live music trend in Ibiza. This year’s programme alone, with acts like Biffy Clyro, Tinie Tempah, Chic or Jake Bugg just a few drops in the vast Ibiza Rocks ocean of eight long years of live music.

Many of you  have stuck with us from the start, some of you have joined in along the way, others maybe haven’t ever been to a gig at all, but you still know the name.

In all cases, we at FIX IBIZA, and on behalf of Ibiza Rocks, want to thank you all for your support over our eight magnificient rockin’ rollin’ years.

To celebrate the 8th Birthday, Ibiza Rocks have once again triumphed with their line up with neo-pysch ensemble, Temples, to start, Manc rascals Beady Eye, led by Liam Gallagher,  to headline and a man who’s also backed the whole Ibiza Rocks notion since its humble beginnings, Mr Zane Lowe, in between bands and no doubt whipping the crowd into a frenzy, like he does.  Ibiza Rocks Residents Colin Peters and Ste-V Something will also throw in their tuppence-worth along the way.

Post gig, you’re also invited to hike up the hill to Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel where those in the know will be raising a glass and making our 8th birthday all the more memorable. I say hike, but it may be a wiser idea to take advantage of our Rock n Ride shuttle service which runs from 9pm until 5am between Ibiza Rocks House (Pikes) and Ibiza Rocks Hotel every Wednesday and Friday*

(And if the going gets tough, we have a limited number of rooms available at Ibiza Rocks House for last minute bookings when booked in reception during the night of a party, with a 50% discount room only deal. We would if we were you…)

So, point is, we’d love you to come help celebrate with us-

Come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough…

Jill, Elena & Saydi
